My Third and Fourth stereos

My third stereo was a Harman Kardon 330i Ultra Wideband Linear Phase receiver.

The HK 330i were made from 1982-1985. Featuring 20 watts RMS per channel, at 8 ohm from 20Hz to 20KHz with .09% THD.
I bought this for $50 at a local thrift store, and it still bears the painted on price. i barely got out the door with it, so many other customers had their eyes on it ! It looked like-new. There was a matching tape deck beside it, but I passed on that. Not enough cash in my pocket that day.
This receiver went into my computer room. From there, I fell in love with HKs !
My fourth stereo was another thrift shop purchase: this Akai AA-1125 bought for $15.

These were built in 1977 and sold for $275.00 . Featuring 25 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohm.

That is about all i can tell you about this receiver, except it looks cool. This went in my bedroom, along with my original Sony Digital CD deck .

I also bought these at the thrift store, but i never really used them :

Soundesign 'all-in-one style, obviously from the 1970s. Low power. Crappy sound. Bad tuner. The 8 track tape player didn't work. Let's say that my earlier radios had 8 track. Hey, you could buy 8 tracks for a quarter, and I found lots of good ones .Used.

And this 'golden' Pioneer for $25.00 . Couldn't receive any radio channels. Well, I live wayyy way out there in the boonies. Er, uh. 93.3 didn't exist at the time.

Continue on to my fifth stereo .....HK AVR 20
