There is a great version of Risk on pogo.com. It requires Java to play, which makes it accessible to most modern operating systems. You have all the boardgame options available when you 'host' a game. The 'blind' feature from Risk 1, and the 'added territories' of Risk II are not possible. The game features the ability to choose from either the 'classic' style-horses and cannons, or a more modern-tanks and humvees, interface. For a low-res screenshot (69KB), click here.
As time goes by, it gets harder to find downloads and advice for playing Risk online.
There is a lot of history to be found in our glorious past time; but slowly it disappears from the web.
I know my stuff isn't that great,yet my heart is in the proper place. I sincerely welcome you take the time to

The changing interfaces of PC Risk

This is the first draft, and I am still stuck with calling the original Risk , Risk .
And well,the new one is New Risk .
The game is 12 years old, and I am not sure if I ever played 1 skirmish .
I have been playing the crap out of it though - Big Maps, Classic, mission, or domination.
Capitals, yes.But not so often.
Alright. So I wrote some fresh pages about my favorite game...but it's not coming back anytime in the future.
I am hopelessly stuck playing the AIs. No problem.
As soon as I find some inspiration, this text will change.Or get shifted to the bottom of the page.
I am going to post this online, and study it until I find good content.
