Call it what you want; this movie is good, clean fun.Until that gooey, marshmallow bit at the end.

First Blood was just a little bit too violent for me. The 2nd and 3rd saw more action, and less focus
on the abuse of the veteran John Rambo. Once again, the government is more problem than solution.

Surprisingly, this movie is on AMC regularly. And we watch it. Just one of the many teen movies of the 1980s,
except this one has computers, and games, and hacking computers. Many times,movies have some basis on fact.
It was the Russians, who cooly averted WWIII when their observant servicemen disobeyed their ranking officers
call to launch a retaliation . I saw it on wikipedia somewhere...

The 80s also had a fair share of kid movies,and the Goonies is absolutely the best. a bunch of kids, out for one
last adventure. Before their neighborhood becomes a golf course.And they make good, and some new friends along the way.

The early 80s style teen movies are alot of fun to watch. The music, the clothes , and the ever hopeful
attitudes of the characters just made things a little too dandy. The mentality of the era is pretty
accurate, as the director went undercover to discover the real life of american teens.

It all seems kind of silly now,watching Star Trek movies. Yet there is a genuine loss, an emotional ending
where Spock dies. Maybe you liked Captain Kirk, but Spock was the one character Star Trek could not do without.
And as his body is sent off into space,only The Search will restore the loss we all suffer..

Alright, Demi moore isn't bad. Bobcat Goldthwait is at his best . This is another good clean fun movie.
Not so clean as some, but still fun to watch. I favor the teen movies over most 80s stuff.
That and, I already have the best 80s movies in my all-time-favorites...

Valley Girl brings the best soundtrack of the teen movies.If you like new wave,the songs are fabulous.The young Nicholas Cage
really hits home as the punk rocker-type.The mall scenes, the parties,the clothes, its all so tubular.
And to be honest, we really like the young Elizabeth Daily alot. The characters were pretty close to what
you would find in a typical high school.

This movie is pretty rare.In fact, I am surprised to see the DVD on Amazon . Helen Slater and a cast of unknowns
did a fine job with the characters. The best part is the music playing in the background of the whole movie.
And it is not all the top-hits of the day, no. The music is genuine 80s rock n roll . And its good to hear that energy.

I guess you could watch this movie, and then imagine why we have a war on drugs. Nobody should be allowed to
have this much fun. Not legally ? For a few years, this was my birthday treat to myself. I watched the movie.
I died laughing. We still have a sealed DVD in the closet,just in case the world goes dark.Darker.

This movie is still very popular. Spending your saturday at school, in detention would be a serious bummer.
The characters are believeable,the script is well-written. The music isn't bad,at all. Emilio Estevez gives
a super-charged look to a punk with a big mouth. Molly Ringwald is fresh,and new here.She quickly faded.

For me, this is John Candy at his best . No other movie that I can remember, is John better. Rick Moranis is hilarious...
The spoof on Star Wars has never been better to watch than now. It's still the same movie, maybe the more SW grew,
the better it is to poke fun at.

It's Crazy. The movie stinks.The plot stinks. Bernie...stinks. I don't know, the reggae music is good.

Clearly, the comedy of the 1980s is superior to my usual horror/suspense type movies. Only on this list.
Martin short, another in a long line of contemporary comedians, is pretty good. Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan are in their prime.
